The increase in globalization in today’s world has caused immigration to become a worldwide phenomenon, and Spain is no exception. The arrival of people from many different countries, many of them only being able to speak their own native language, has increased the necessity for interpreters who can facilitate communication between speakers. Community interpreting covers a wide variety of working environments, in many different settings (from hotels and museums to Administration buildings), with many different types of users (tourists, immigrants, etc.).
